Tasting notes: The Grand Prestige, brewed with up to four different malts, is also described as barley wine. In the ripe, full taste, bitter and sweet are remarkably well distinguished. The taste of Hertog Jan Grand Prestige is appreciated by connoisseurs and aficionados far beyond our borders, as evidenced by the golden awards at various renowned beer competitions. The longer Grand Prestige is stored, that wonderful flavour develops even further. After a few years, the taste is reminiscent of a beautiful old port wine. Many bottles are now maturing in our cellars, some of which have been reserved. If you order such a personal bottle, for yourself or as a gift, it can remain with us for eight years until it is collected.
